BLADESHARK™ is no ordinary hockey tape - it is a pressure sensitive, self-adhesive film coated with crushed cork and rubber particles, designed to enhance puck control and durability.

How long does BLADESHARK™ hockey blade tape last?

A:

BLADESHARK™ typically lasts 10-15 games, but has lasted as many as 30 games.

Does BLADESHARK™ fit left-handed blades?

A:

BLADESHARK™ is designed to fit right- or left-handed blades, junior or senior sized blades.

Can I put BLADESHARK™ over tape?

A:

Unlikely, the tape would absorb the water behind the BLADESHARK™ causing it to fall off. In addition, the weight of the ordinary hockey tape combined with the BLADESHARK™ hockey tape would not be desirable.

Q:

How do I get the tape residue off the blade before applying BLADESHARK™?

A:

Lacquer thinner or naphtha is the best product for removing old tape residue. Rubbing alcohol will also work but requires a little more effort.

What is the sandpaper for?

A:

The sandpaper is for preparing your blade. Today’s blades have a high gloss finish, roughing this surface by lightly sanding this gloss will ensure the best adhesion to your blade.
